SUEL was founded by Eline Wieland and Susann Willems who are both passionate about high technology and slow crafts. Always fascinated by anything unusual, they decided to design a range of outstanding cushions. The guiding principle behind the designs and special finishing: SUEL cushions should make everyday life more enjoyable.

Eline Wieland studied interior architecture at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam and for the last few years she has been designing animations and installations on behalf of well-known architectural practices, museums and dance companies. In addition, working as a media and motion designer, she has been involved in notable projects, such as the Fashion Gallery at Amsterdamʾs Schipol Airport and an installation for the opening ceremony at Rotterdam Centraal Station. www.elinewieland.nl

Since 2014, Susann Willems has been in charge of ideas, trends and design at ORGANISATIONSKUNST, managing the implementation of exhibition and event formats. Currently, Susann Willems is the ʿpatronʾ of the participatory exhibition concept, Think About Africa, in which she is responsible for planning, development and implementation. From 1998 to 2013, she was the owner and chief designer of the fashion label, LIAISON TULA, and before that she spent 15 years working internationally as a freelance photo stylist.
